The computer science program is a program in the bachelor's and master's degrees of the University of Rennes 1, co-managed with the ENS Rennes.
The pedagogy in this program places a central emphasis on learning about research: group work, seminars, personal reading in the library, project work with reports and defenses, training for presentations, laboratory visits.
The program takes place over three years and each year is validated by a national diploma: a Bachelor's degree in computer science in the first year (L3), a Master's degree in computer science in the second (M1) and third (M2) years. It offers a major in fundamental computer science and optional supplements in mathematics.
